WIDIA Victory™ Grades for Steel

The multilayer coating on our new Victory steel grades equips these inserts for high-speed finishing and roughing operations. The new geometry designs mean better chip control, which translates into better tool life and outstanding surface finish.
The post-coat treatment improves edge toughness, so you'll enjoy long, predictable tool life. These insert styles reduce depth-of-cut notching and can be used in a wide range of applications.
The new violet coating helps you easily identify flank wear. The alpha alumina layer gives coating integrity to the insert at elevated speeds, and means higher productivity and dependability at high temperatures.
For steel, there are three grades (WP15CT, WP25CT, WP35CT) and 11 geometries for roughing and finishing operations.
Why you'll like them:
- Long tool life from the new multilayer coating that gives better wear resistance
- High speed and feed capability means reduced cycle times
- Smooth and secure seating surface
- Post-coat treatment reduces depth-of-cut notching and improves edge toughness
- New violet coating easily identifies flank wear
